The Signature S2S Process
Combining the original “Masonite ®” process with modern proprietary manufacturing technologies solidifies Signature S2S hardboard panels as the benchmark for superior PureSolid™ core quality, critically smooth surfaces and unequaled strength.
1. Hardwoods including aspen, maple and birch from SFI certified forests allow DPI to produce clean, highly uniform fibers that promote a dimensionally stable, PureSolid™ core.
2. Adding natural essential oils promote a highly refined smooth surface on both sides of the panel. This tempering, coupled with the natural lignin in the wood provides the superior bond required for fiber stability. Simply no added formaldehyde used and negligible VOC.
3. Fiber is processed through DPI’s advanced screen system – which practically eliminates rippling, dimples and blemishes on the surface.
4.The result is the ultimate surface for painting, coating and finishing.
